WISE Las Vegas (Women in Sports and Events), the leading voice and resource for women in the business of sports, is thrilled to announce two impactful upcoming initiatives in July supporting students and industry professionals.
Apply to the WISE Las Vegas DivHERsity Student Book Scholarship
WISE Las Vegas is proud to celebrate students of diversity through its DivHERsity Student Book Scholarship. The organization is excited to provide financial support to help cover the cost of academic books for the upcoming fall semester as part of its ongoing mission to support excellence among the women of the community.
Eligible students include both undergraduate and graduate students registered at CSN, UNLV, and NSU.
To apply, students should submit a two-minute video that includes their name, major or field of study, career aspirations or goals, and an explanation of why they are an excellent candidate for this scholarship opportunity.
Videos should be submitted to wiselv.philanthropy@gmail.com by the application deadline: 11:59 pm on July 25th.
Get Ready for SEICon II – Sports & Entertainment Innovation Conference
WISE Las Vegas is excited to participate in SEICon II, the premier event shaping the future of sports and entertainment innovation.
Where: Bellagio Resort & Casino, Las Vegas
When: July 8–10, 2025
This year’s SEICon will convene top minds in the industry to explore cutting-edge technologies, product innovations, and game-changing strategies. The conference will also highlight the power of public-private collaborations and journalism as forces driving sports diplomacy, cultural exchange, and community impact.
WISE Las Vegas will be represented by Kandi Conda, CEO of Athletes Who Give and President of WISE Las Vegas, and Yvonne Wade, Athletic Director, Sport Administrator, and Mentor at Nevada State University, who will speak on panels during the event.
