The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) leads and inspires global action to achieve the vision of zero new HIV infections, zero discrimination and zero AIDS-related deaths. Internship Overview

This internship is open to candidates who meet the following criteria:

Eligibility Requirements

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated (within the past 12 months) from an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree programme at a recognized institution.

  • Must be at least 20 years old at the time of application.

  • Must have working knowledge (oral and written) of at least one official WHO/UNAIDS language: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish.

  • Must not have previously completed a UNAIDS internship.

  • Must not have immediate family members employed by the UNAIDS Secretariat.

Stipend Information

A stipend may be provided to interns who are not already receiving financial support from another source.
