    TOPICS:
Syracuse University and National Grid have partnered up for the Summer College Scholars Program.
Selected Syracuse City School District high school students will have the opportunity to join the program for free for the next three summers.
Students will also have access to college-level learning focused on STEM and energy literacy.
The initiative is designed to award full scholarships to 20 to 25 students per year.
“These scholarships cover tuition, fees, room and board,” said Michael Frasciello, Dean of the College of Professional Studies. “Removing the financial obstacles that often stand between a young person, and their potential.”
Recipients will be able to choose from a curated list of credit and non-credit summer courses, offering students an immersive campus experience.
