In 2026- 2027, Sweden and Ethiopia will celebrate 80 years of diplomatic relations- a milestone that highlights decades of partnership grounded in friendship, development cooperation, cultural exchange, and shared values.

To honour this anniversary, the Embassies of Sweden in Ethiopia and Ethiopia in Sweden invite artists, designers, and creative individuals from both countries to participate in a Logo Design Competition. The winning logo will represent the theme “80 Years of Friendship – Forward Together” and will be used on official communication materials, digital platforms, publications, and anniversary events throughout the celebration year.
