The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is inviting applications for its 2026 Social Media and Events Communications Internship. This remote, full-time opportunity is ideal for young professionals who want to build practical experience in digital communications, event coordination and global sustainability work.

About the Global Landscapes Forum

Launched in 2013 by CIFOR-ICRAF in partnership with global organizations such as UNEP, the World Bank and the Government of Germany, the Global Landscapes Forum has grown into the world’s largest knowledge-led platform on sustainable land use and landscape restoration.

GLF brings together governments, development partners, private sector actors, scientists, youth and local communities to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Climate Agreement and the Global Biodiversity Framework. Over the years, the Forum has connected more than 25,000 organizations and millions of people across 185 countries.

The GLF operates across three key pillars:

  1. Accelerating community action and youth leadership, including the GLFx chapter network and the Youth in Landscapes Initiative.
  2. Scaling learning and sustainable finance through its Landscape Academy and restoration programs.
  3. Strengthening a global movement with digital media, events and impactful communication campaigns.
