    TOPICS:
Golf enthusiasts gathered at the Riverview Golf and Country Club in Redding for the 10th Annual Retired Coaches Association Tournament.
The event serves as a gesture of gratitude towards sponsors who support scholarships for graduating high school seniors.
The Retired Coaches Association, now in its 11th year, offers scholarships of $2,000 for the first year and $1,000 for the second year to scholar-athletes. The tournament, which requires no entry fee, is a way to express gratitude to our sponsors for their contributions.
Following the tournament, participants attended a luncheon and silent auction. The funds raised will benefit scholar-athletes at a luncheon scheduled for next spring.
