The Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund (RTYPF) has officially opened applications for its 2026 grant cycle, marking a pioneering philanthropic initiative designed to empower youth and intergenerationally led organizations shaping the future of responsible technology. This first-of-its-kind program focuses on funding 501(c)(3) organizations that are actively working on issues such as artificial intelligence (AI), mental health and well-being, and climate change—all with an emphasis on advancing a more equitable and responsible technological future.
The Fund represents a unique opportunity for young leaders and collaborative, intergenerational groups to receive meaningful financial support as they strive to address the most pressing challenges of the digital era.
The RTYPF is committed to ensuring that the voices of young people are central to the responsible technology movement. Recognizing that youth are not only early adopters of technology but also some of its most affected stakeholders, the Fund supports organizations where young leaders are empowered to design, implement, and advocate for solutions.
The initiative focuses on:
Supporting youth-led and intergenerationally led nonprofits that are formally recognized as 501(c)(3) organizations.
Providing funding to groups advancing responsible approaches to emerging technologies.
Encouraging projects that connect technology with broader social issues such as mental health, equity, and climate change.
For the 2026 grant cycle, RTYPF offers two streams of funding depending on the applicant’s status with the Fund:
New Grantees: Eligible organizations that are applying for the first time may apply for grants of up to $75,000.
Returning Grantees: Organizations that have previously received funding may apply for grants of up to $100,000.
Grant sizes will range from $25,000 to $100,000, depending on the organization’s eligibility and the strength of the proposed project.
To be eligible for funding, applicants must:
Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in good standing.
Be either youth-led or intergenerationally led, with demonstrated youth leadership in decision-making and program delivery.
Work in the responsible technology sector, addressing issues related to:
Artificial intelligence (AI)
Mental health and well-being in the digital age
Climate change and its intersection with technology
Organizations are encouraged to showcase innovative approaches that combine technology with social impact, and projects should emphasize the advancement of youth voices and perspectives in shaping future solutions.

Financial Support: Substantial grants to support ongoing or new initiatives in responsible technology.
Recognition: Being part of a pioneering cohort that is shaping global discussions around responsible tech.
Youth Empowerment: Centering the role of young leaders in addressing the intersection of technology, society, and sustainability.
The Fund’s logo has been generously provided by Isaiah Robinson, age 25, of BWA Studios, reinforcing the program’s commitment to youth-driven creativity and leadership.
With technology playing an increasingly central role in shaping human lives and global challenges, the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund is setting a bold precedent by placing youth and intergenerational collaboration at the heart of its mission. By offering flexible, impactful funding, RTYPF provides organizations the resources to drive change in critical areas such as AI ethics, mental health, and climate resilience.
