APN is pleased to announce the 2025 Call for Proposals for two of its flagship funding programmes—the Collaborative Regional Research Programme (CRRP) and the Scientific Capacity Development Programme (CAPaBLE)—for activities commencing from October 2026.

This year’s call will support innovative, impactful, and regionally relevant proposals that address APN’s core thematic areas, with a focus on one or more sub-regional priority topics. A limited amount of funding is available, and proponents are encouraged to review all guidance materials carefully before submitting.

Proponent Eligibility

Researchers, academics, and practitioners working at institutions located in APN member countries or approved countries are eligible to apply.

Detailed eligibility conditions are available in the CRRP and CAPaBLE Proponent Guides accessible through APNIS.

Special Consideration: Early Career Professionals (ECPs)

APN strongly encourages submissions from Early Career Professionals in the Asia-Pacific region.
Eligible proposals submitted by ECPs or ECP-majority teams will receive priority consideration.
