The Women’s Coaching and Officiating Support Program aims to give women the tools and support to take on leadership roles as coaches and officials.
Through the program, they can grow their skills, build confidence and shape the future of sport in Canberra.
Program funding of $50,000 will be shared with 11 successful recipients. These include sport and active recreation clubs, associations and organisations.
The funding will help recipients deliver accredited training, mentoring and development opportunities for women.

Canberra City Gymnastics Club has received $5,700 in funding.
The club will use this to support some young coaches in advancing their accreditation and development at a higher competitive level.
Triathlon ACT has received $9,800 to deliver a coaching development program for female coaches.
This funding allows more women in the triathlon community to step into leadership roles and build confidence.
