The Morris Rotary Club has awarded eight $1,000 scholarships to local high school students.
The students are Grace Emmerich, Maya Price, Brandy Valencia, Jazalin Gonzalez, Harmony Heisterman, Colin Pfeifer, Grace Mennenga, and Callie Fulkerson.
The awards were presented by Corey Tedford, Pat Durkin and Jim Wright from the Morris Rotary.
