Call for Applications: Unlock Funding & Mentorship for Your Participatory Program

What if your ideas could inspire thousands? What if your community had the tools to fight the climate crisis, empower youth, or build fairer institutions—and you had the chance to make it happen? This isn’t a “what if.” It’s an opportunity.

People Powered is now accepting applications for three programs that are helping to shape the future of democracy around the world. Whether your focus is climate action, youth participation, or reimagining decision-making, there’s a pathway for you.

Why This Matters

Across the globe, communities and governments experiment with participatory decision-making—from climate budgeting in rural villages to youth assemblies in urban areas. Bold ideas need more than passion: they require funding, mentorship, and a global network of allies.

The accelerator and mentorship programs from People Powered are designed to provide exactly that: support, training, peer learning, and financial backing to help your ideas become real, impactful programs.

Programs Available

CDA offers a USD 10,000 implementation grant, and the top five action plans may receive an additional USD 15,000award. The program helps governments and civil society collaborate to design participatory climate initiatives focused on renewable energy and regenerative agriculture. It runs over six months with hands-on training, workshops, peer groups, and mentorship. People Powered

Priority is given to applicants from Brazil, Indonesia, India, Mexico, and South Africa, but global submissions are welcome. People Powered

Democratic Innovations Accelerator (DIA)
