FORT MOHAVE — Mason Lucchino of Bullhead City has reached the quarterfinals of the Sports Illustrated Athlete of the Year scholarship contest. 
This competition not only recognizes student athletes for their success on the field, but also raises money for cancer research and the Why Not Foundation.  The winner will receive $25,000 scholarship and a two-page highlight spread in Sports Illustrated.
