PEO Chapter IX in Winter Park announced its 2025 scholarship recipients, awarding $12,500 in local and international support to Grand County women pursuing higher education.
The group — which aims to support philanthropic, educational and organizational advancements for women — awarded seven high school scholarships and three continuing education grants, each valued at $1,000.

Additionally, Middle Park High School graduate Jackie Martinski was awarded the national $2,500 PEO STAR Scholarship, honoring her academic achievement and exceptional community involvement as she enters her college career.
Since its founding 19 years ago, Chapter IX has provided more than $220,000 in educational support for 118 Grand County women. The group funds scholarships through community fundraising efforts.
