<1 min read time Knoxville Aviation has announced the launch of its 2025 Flight Scholarship, offering $5,000 to help a student complete their Private Pilot License. The scholarship is open to applicants aged 16–21. Other eligibility requirements are that applicants must live within 35 miles of Knoxville Municipal Airport, are medically qualified to obtain an FAA 3rd Class Medical Certificate, passed the FAA Private Pilot Written Exam, and must commit to completing training at Knoxville Aviation. The award will be issued after a recipient’s first solo flight and applied directly to license completion. Applications will be accepted through Sept. 30 and the award recipient will be announced Oct. 4. To learn more about the scholarship requirements and details, click here.
