The International Association for Feminist Economics (IAFFE) is now accepting applications for the 2026 Feminist Economics School, scheduled to take place from July 6 to July 8, 2026, at Universidad Icesi in Cali, Colombia. This highly regarded program is designed for early-career scholars, practitioners, and activists committed to advancing feminist perspectives in economic research, policy, and practice.
The IAFFE Feminist Economics School offers an intensive and collaborative learning experience for emerging leaders in feminist economics. The program consists of:
Two days of interactive workshops led by global experts
Foundational seminars on feminist economic theory and methodologies
Practical exercises on policy analysis and economic justice
Peer-to-peer learning and reflective sessions connecting theory to lived realities
Participants will explore key frameworks in feminist economics while applying learning to real-world issues, strengthening both theoretical understanding and practical skills.
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Completion of an undergraduate degree or equivalent, or
At least five years of relevant experience in feminist economics, gender equity work, activism, or social movements
Basic English language skills are required to fully participate in discussions and activities.
IAFFE strongly encourages applications from:

There is no participation fee for the program
Travel grants are available for eligible participants
Selected participants will be asked to pay a refundable registration fee to confirm their place
Participants will receive an email confirmation once their application is submitted successfully.
