MONROE, La. (KNOE/Gray News) – A Louisiana high school senior has a pretty big choice to make.
Ouachita Parish High senior Makenzie Williams was accepted into more than 75 colleges and awarded over $1 million in scholarships.
Makenzie’s mom, Keyonya, says she is also “ranked #1 in her class out of 274 students.”
She also earned a 27 on the ACT and was recently recognized as one of the top 20 scholars invited to the Ouachita 2025 Scholars Banquet.
