The University of Helsinki Doctoral School (UHDS) provides annual funding for full-time doctoral researcher positions across its doctoral programmes. These positions are designed to support doctoral candidates in completing their degree within four years.

Application Periods

  • One application period is organized each year for all doctoral programmes.

  • The next application period for salaried positions is 26 August – 9 September 2025.

  • Detailed application instructions are available on the University of Helsinki’s Instructions for Students website.
