In 2025, more than 1,400 applicants from across the globe competed to join the program. From this pool, over 500 entrepreneurs representing 81 countries were selected. Over the course of a 6-week journey, participants engaged in 70+ hours of training, 50 interactive sessions, and learned directly from 39 expert instructors worldwide.

Following the intensive Learning Journey, more than 350 UPG Biashara Entrepreneurs from 52 nations were certified. As part of the #UPGBiashara Action Journey, several outstanding entrepreneurs went on to receive grants of USD 5,000, 10,000, and even 20,000 — all completely FREE.

The UPG Biashara Experience

Each year, UPG Biashara supports 500 entrepreneurs worldwide, combining learning, funding, and mentorship through two core phases:

1. The Learning Journey

A 6-week immersive training program designed to equip both new and experienced entrepreneurs with practical business and leadership skills. Participants engage with experts and partners through a dynamic curriculum covering:

• Business planning and solution development
• Marketing and sales strategy
• Team management and leadership
• Conflict resolution
• Networking and customer engagement

2. The Action Journey

After training, entrepreneurs move into an implementation phase where they put their knowledge into action. This includes:

• Ongoing mentorship and guidance
• Networking and exposure opportunities
• Access to funding and potential grant awards
• Continued education and growth support for at least 6 months
