The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute (RRPFI) has officially opened applications for its Fall 2025 Internship Program at the Ronald Reagan Institute in Washington, DC. This internship, running from late August to December 2025, provides a unique opportunity for college students and recent graduates to work with a small, dynamic team while contributing to meaningful conversations in national security, international affairs, education, economics, and more.
The internship is designed to give participants hands-on professional experience, college credit (where applicable), and the chance to work directly on projects of national and international importance.

RRPFI is a globally recognized nonpartisan organization with two main locations:
Simi Valley, California – home to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, the most visited presidential library in the United States.
Washington, DC – home to the Ronald Reagan Institute, which leads policy initiatives, public affairs programming, and educational projects.
The Simi Valley campus sits on 400 acres with views of the Pacific Ocean, featuring world-class exhibits including President Reagan’s Air Force One, a section of the Berlin Wall, and numerous centers dedicated to civic engagement, education, and leadership.
Location: Washington, DC (in-person)
Term: August – December 2025
Hours: 20–30 hours per week
Compensation: $17.95/hour

This internship provides the opportunity to:
Work directly with the Reagan Institute’s professional staff.
Gain practical experience in research, administration, and event support.
Engage with projects across multiple centers at the Institute.
Interns will support a range of program areas and initiatives, including:
Reagan Institute Centers:
Center for Peace Through Strength
Center for Freedom and Democracy
Center for Civics, Education, and Opportunity
Visitor Services:
Supporting reception needs and visitor engagement
Research & Administrative Support:
Providing assistance for the Reagan National Defense Forum
Supporting initiatives for the Center on Civility and Democracy
Assisting with content for the Reaganism and Rendezvous with History podcasts
Data & Program Support:
Refining and organizing program-related data
Performing general administrative tasks as required
Candidates should demonstrate:
Strong research skills (policy and personnel-related)
Ability to organize and analyze data (Microsoft Excel, Airtables, etc.)
Proficiency in drafting professional memorandums and communications
A collaborative and team-oriented spirit
Strong time management and detail orientation
Applicants must:
Be 18 years of age or older
Be enrolled full-time at a local university
Have prior experience working in a professional office environment
Demonstrate adaptability and a proactive, can-do mindset
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Maintain a professional appearance and communication style (written and verbal)
