Concord students named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists – The Concord Bridge

A dozen outstanding students, representing three Concord schools, have been named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists for 2026. 
From Concord-Carlisle High School the semifinalists are Anthony Babu, Gabriel McCauley, Mena Sheth, Maya Soto, and April Tang.
The honorees from Concord Academy are Lila H. Abruzzi, William V. Frabizio, Shireen E. Griffith-Ebrahimi, Averie H. Lee, Nathan X. Liu, and May Zheng.
Middlesex School’s honoree is Yixuan Qi.
From over 16,000 semifinalists nationwide, more than 15,000 are expected to advance to the finalist level, and in February, they will be notified of this designation. 
Three types of National Merit Scholarships will be offered in spring 2026. 
National Merit Scholarship winners of 2026 will be announced in phases, beginning in April.
