The African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) has announced a Call for Proposals for Sub-Delegations under the project Creating Opportunities for Youth and Women in Africa (COYWA). This initiative seeks to identify and engage qualified partners — including Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), private sector actors, and public institutions — across the African continent to support youth and women empowerment through sustainable economic and social inclusion programs.
This call represents an important step in advancing AUDA-NEPAD’s commitment to inclusive growth and continental transformation. The initiative aligns with the African Union’s Agenda 2063, focusing on unlocking the potential of Africa’s young people and women as key drivers of development.
The COYWA initiative focuses on enhancing livelihoods, promoting entrepreneurship, and expanding economic participation for youth and women. By supporting inclusive economic ecosystems, the project aims to create pathways for decent employment, innovation, and enterprise growth across targeted African regions.
