About the Programme

The Policy Center for the New South (PCNS) is announcing a call for applications for the Raisina Young Fellows Programme 2026, a prestigious international fellowship for emerging leaders in global affairs, diplomacy, and policy-making. Through this opportunity, three members of the PCNS Youth Community will be selected to participate.

The fellowship is hosted by the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and runs alongside the Raisina Dialogue, India’s premier conference on geopolitics and geo-economics, co-hosted with the Ministry of External Affairs. The 2026 edition will take place from 2 to 11 March 2026 in New Delhi, India.


Programme Overview

The Raisina Young Fellows Programme brings together outstanding young professionals from across the world to examine critical global challenges through high-level dialogue and policy engagement. Participants will interact with senior policymakers, diplomats, academics, and private sector leaders, gaining insight into international political, economic, and social trends while building strategic networks.

Applicants selected for this programme will gain access to:

  • High-level policy discussions and expert-led sessions

  • Networking with government officials, CEOs, scholars, and thought leaders

  • Multilateral perspectives on current global affairs

  • A global alumni network of more than 2,000 leaders

This call forms part of the ongoing partnership between PCNS, ORF, and the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI), which promotes cross-regional knowledge exchange and youth leadership in international dialogue.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Aged between 28 and 35 years

  • Demonstrated outstanding achievements and proven leadership

  • Experience in one of the following sectors: politics, diplomacy, business, media, civil society, or academia

  • Ability to contribute meaningfully to international policy discussions

  • Proficiency in English
