Youth and Environment Europe (YEE) is seeking an Advocacy Manager to lead and coordinate its advocacy work across Europe. This role strengthens the quality, coherence, and impact of YEE’s advocacy efforts, ensuring that actions and positions are values-aligned, evidence-informed, and youth-led.

Objective of the Position
The Advocacy Manager is a central figure within YEE, working closely with the Advocacy Department, Executive Board, Secretariat, member organisations, and partners. The role focuses on:

Coordinating advocacy initiatives across projects and thematic priorities

Supporting member organisations in policy engagement

Translating youth perspectives into actionable strategies

Enhancing YEE’s representation in European and international policy spaces
The mandate runs from 1 March 2026 to 31 December 2026, with a two-month provisional period. Onboarding begins in late February 2026.

Lead EU and international policy engagement

Manage partnerships and represent YEE in external forums

Support member organisations in advocacy activities

Ensure strategic priorities are implemented effectively

Understand European and international policy processes relevant to youth and environment

Can critically analyse policy developments and recommend advocacy responses
Essential Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication in English

Resident in Europe (preferably with an EU working permit)

Under 35 years of age by the end of the contract

Contract and Remuneration

Service contract with a gross monthly salary of €2,251.99 (25h/week)
