The BRIDGE Internship Programme is designed for final-year students and recent graduates. It provides a six-month paid opportunity to connect academic learning with professional practice. Interns benefit from mentorship by senior BRAC leaders, exposure to large-scale development initiatives, and the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role at BRAC.
The Regular Internship Programme runs for three months and is open to both graduate and postgraduate students. Interns gain exposure to BRAC’s wide range of programmes, including poverty reduction, humanitarian response, social enterprises, and education initiatives. This programme allows interns to contribute meaningfully to projects while acquiring valuable professional skills.

Where are internships offered?
Currently, BRAC internships are offered only in Bangladesh operations.
Is knowledge of Bangla required?
No. BRAC welcomes international interns, and English is widely used. Translator services are available if required.
Are the internships paid?
Yes. All BRAC internships are paid, with a monthly stipend of BDT 8,000.
What is the duration of internships?
Internships are typically 3 months under the Regular Programme or 6 months under the BRIDGE Programme.
Do international interns receive support?
Yes. BRAC provides orientation, guidance on visas, field placements, and cultural acclimatization. Accommodation in Dhaka must be arranged by the intern, though BRAC can provide assistance.
What is expected of interns?
Interns are expected to contribute to research, produce reports, assist in fieldwork, and present findings to their departments.
