Applications Open: The 2026 JD Genesis Law Fellowship

JD Genesis is now accepting applications for its inaugural 2026 Fellowship Cohort — an empowering program designed to prepare aspiring law students for law school and sustainable careers in the legal field.

This year, three participants based in the Bay Area (California) who have graduated from college at least two years ago will be selected to join this highly selective program, beginning in late January 2026.

The fellowship will not only support participants as they prepare for law school in the 2027–2028 academic year, but also help them build the tools for a thriving legal career grounded in purpose, wellness, and professional growth.

About the JD Genesis Fellowship

The JD Genesis Fellowship provides a suite of high-touch, holistic resources valued at over $6,000 per participant, designed to strengthen every part of the law school journey.

Through a cohort-based model, fellows receive:

  • An in-person professional development retreat in Oakland, California
  • Therapy vouchers for mental health and well-being support
  • Personalized LSAT tutoring and a full LSAT prep course
  • Coverage for one LSAT administration
  • Mentorship from legal professionals and peers
  • Comprehensive, personalized law school application guidance

The fellowship emphasizes community, mentorship, and balance — ensuring participants grow both professionally and personally as they prepare for law school.
