Harvard University’s François-Xavier Bagnoud (FXB) Center for Health and Human Rights and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health are now accepting applications for two prestigious child protection opportunities for 2025–2026. These programs are designed to strengthen global leadership in preventing abuse, exploitation, violence, and neglect against children.
The G. Barrie Landry Child Protection Professional Training Program is a weeklong, in-person training for mid-career professionals working in child protection.

- Dates: June 2026
- Application Model: Teams of three professionals per country
- Cohort Size: Only 10 country teams will be selected
- Scholarships: Full tuition scholarships provided through the G. Barrie Landry Fund and UNICEF USA

1. Harvard Child Protection Certificate (CPC) Program 2025–2026
The Child Protection Certificate Program (CPC) offers Harvard graduate and postdoctoral students an interdisciplinary academic qualification in child protection.

- Eligibility: Open to students across all Harvard graduate schools

- Completion of 12 credits from approved courses across at least 3 domains
- Attendance at a mandatory non-credit seminar series in Spring 2026 (Fridays, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
- Submission of an essay-based application and later an approval request before graduation
- Enrollment Cap: Limited to 30 students per year
- Recognition: Certificates awarded at the annual spring ceremony
