
The Delegation of the European Union to Zimbabwe has officially opened applications for the 3rd Cohort of the Team Europe Youth Sounding Board. This initiative seeks dynamic young leaders from across Zimbabwe to help shape youth-focused policies and programmes implemented by Team Europe in the country.
The Youth Sounding Board provides a unique platform for young Zimbabweans to directly engage with the EU Delegation, offering insights that ensure development interventions remain relevant, impactful and youth-responsive.
To be eligible, applicants must:
Be between 18 and 30 years old
Be a Zimbabwean national or permanent resident
Demonstrate a strong passion for youth empowerment and inclusive development
Have an interest or experience in one or more of the following sectors:
Agriculture
Trade and Investment
Governance and Democracy
Gender Equality
Communications and Public Engagement
Members of the Team Europe Youth Sounding Board will:
Contribute to real decision-making processes affecting youth in Zimbabwe
Monitor, inform and advise the EU Delegation on youth-focused programmes
Strengthen youth participation in governance and development
Expand their leadership, advocacy and policy engagement skills
Network with key stakeholders and development actors
All applications must be submitted by 17 November 2025.
