The AI Impact Summit 2026—led by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, in collaboration with UN Women India—has officially opened submissions for a global compendium highlighting gender-responsive AI innovations developed or deployed in the Global South.
This initiative aligns with the broader mission of the India AI ecosystem to foster inclusive, ethical and impactful artificial intelligence. Selected case studies will be featured in a high-visibility compendium and showcased at the AI Impact Summit 2026, bringing global attention to scalable AI solutions advancing gender equality.

The AI Impact Summit 2026 serves as a global platform connecting policymakers, innovators, researchers and organisations working across the AI landscape. Through its flagship events, including the AI for ALL Global Impact Challenge, AI by HER, YUVAI Global Youth Challenge, the Research Symposium and the AI Expo, the Summit positions India as a leading convener of ethical and responsible AI.
This call for submissions focuses specifically on AI solutions that demonstrate measurable gender impact, ethical development and replication potential across countries in the Global South.

Authorship of a chapter in the AI and Gender Empowerment Casebook, jointly published by MeitY and UN Women, offering a prestigious platform to share evidence-based insights and document real-world impact.
Showcasing opportunities at the AI Impact Summit 2026 before global policymakers, innovators and leaders, enabling contributors to highlight their work and engage with key decision-makers shaping the future of responsible AI.
