Erasmus+ Traineeship Grant 2026 at Lund University

Paid European Work Experience for Lund University Students (2026–2027 Cycle)

Lund University in Sweden has opened applications for the Erasmus+ Traineeship Grant 2026, a mobility grant designed to support students seeking hands-on professional experience in another European country. Unlike a traditional degree scholarship, this grant funds practical training, professional placements, and research-related traineeships that strengthen employability and global competence.

Open to students of all nationalities, this opportunity allows Lund University students to carry out a traineeship during their studies—or immediately after graduation—within an Erasmus+ programme country.

What the Erasmus+ Traineeship Offers

This traineeship grant provides financial and academic support for practical, work-based experience abroad. Eligible traineeships may include:

  • Professional placements
  • Applied research or fieldwork
  • Data or material collection for a degree project
  • Training integrated into exchange studies
  • Blended mobility combining physical and virtual components

Students may receive Erasmus+ funding multiple times, up to a total of 12 months per study cycle (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD).
