Do you have a great idea for a tech product that could make an impact in your community? The AI Ventures Accelerator 2025, a free initiative by Technovation and Generation Unlimited (GenU), helps young women transform their innovative ideas into investor-ready AI ventures.
Over 12 weeks, participants gain hands-on experience in artificial intelligence, business development, and leadership. The top 10 teams will each receive $10,000 in equity-free seed funding to launch their startups.
The AI Ventures Accelerator is open to:
Teams of young women aged 19–24 (2–4 preferred; solo founders also welcome)
Applicants based in India, Nigeria, Mexico, or the United States
Individuals passionate about technology, AI, and entrepreneurship
Applicants with a problem to solve in their community
Participants able to commit 10–15 hours per week for 12 weeks
No coding or prior AI experience is needed — only curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn.
Applications open on October 31 and close on November 30, 2025.
Program runs from January to March 2026.
In just three months, participants learn how to turn an idea into a real AI-driven business. The program covers technical training, product design, and business strategy.
Gain foundational AI and machine learning skills, use GenAI tools for product development, and create practical solutions that address real-world challenges.
Work directly with AI professionals, successful entrepreneurs, and investors who guide you through every stage of your startup journey—from idea validation to pitch presentation.
The top 10 teams will win $10,000 each in equity-free funding. This capital can be used to develop products, hire talent, or launch your business.
Become part of a global community of 1,000+ young women innovators from around the world, and access lifelong mentorship and collaboration opportunities.

By 2030, 60% of young people are expected to lack essential job skills, with women in underserved communities facing the greatest barriers. At the same time, women hold only 22% of AI roles globally.
The AI Ventures Accelerator directly addresses these gaps by equipping 1,000 young women with the skills, tools, and support to build AI-driven startups. The goal is to create a more inclusive tech ecosystem where women are not only participants but also innovators, founders, and leaders.
Technovation is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls and women through technology education. With over 350,000 participants in more than 160 countries, Technovation provides free, project-based programs that teach AI, coding, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
Through initiatives like Technovation Girls, participants identify real-world problems and create technology solutions to solve them. Many alumni have founded successful startups and become leaders in the global tech industry.
Generation Unlimited (GenU), hosted by UNICEF, is a public-private-youth partnership that connects 1.8 billion young people to education, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities. Active in 89 countries, GenU collaborates with governments, the private sector, and youth networks to co-create scalable solutions addressing the youth skills and employment gap.
Through initiatives like YOMA and imaGen Ventures, GenU has reached over 199 million young people globally with training, funding, and entrepreneurship support.
Do I need experience in AI or coding to apply?
No. The program welcomes beginners and offers structured guidance throughout.
Can I apply as an individual?
Yes. Solo applicants are welcome, though teams of 2–4 are recommended.
Is the program really free?
Yes. The accelerator is completely free and does not require equity.
What does equity-free funding mean?
It means you keep full ownership of your startup and do not have to give investors a share in exchange for funding.
Can team members live in different locations?
Yes, as long as they all reside in India, Nigeria, Mexico, or the United States.
