Reshaping Our Economies: Free Self-Paced E-Course on Building Inclusive Green Economies
The world is at a critical turning point. The dominant global economic model—driven by fossil fuels, linear production, and growth at any cost—has led to escalating climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and inequality.
In response, a powerful global movement is emerging to reshape our economies around sustainability, equity, and human well-being.
The Reshaping Our Economies e-course is designed to help individuals and institutions understand and drive this transformation. It provides an in-depth look at how countries and organizations can design and implement policies that promote inclusive, green, and resilient economies.
The Reshaping Our Economies e-course is a free, self-paced e-learning program developed by the Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE). It explores how upstream economic policies, just transition strategies, and sustainable finance can drive long-term, systemic change.
Drawing on real-world experiences from 22 PAGE partner countries, the course showcases how governments, civil society, financial institutions, and businesses can work together to align economic growth with social inclusion and environmental sustainability.
Through interactive modules, case studies, videos, and practical exercises, participants will gain the tools and insights needed to support equitable and sustainable economic transformations.
The Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) is a joint initiative of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), International Labour Organization (ILO), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
Since 2013, PAGE has been supporting countries in advancing inclusive green economy transitions aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Working with partner governments and institutions, PAGE helps reframe economic policies and practices around sustainability, with the goal of promoting growth, job creation, poverty reduction, social equity, and ecological resilience.
The Reshaping Our Economies e-course demonstrates how strategic shifts in trade, fiscal, industrial, and employment policies can shape an inclusive green economy.
