WHEELING, W.Va. — The 18th Annual Heather Miller Golf Classic is set to return to Oglebay Park on Friday, continuing its tradition of honoring the memory of Heather Miller, who tragically lost her life in a car accident in 2008.

The event, held in remembrance of Heather's passion for nursing, aims to raise funds for college nursing scholarships.
Jody Miller, Heather's mother, spoke on the inclusivity of the event.
“Like I said, I welcome the public anybody that just wants to stop by if you're curious about organ donation,” Jody Miller said. “We'll have people from the center for organ recovery and education there too. There will be experts on organ donation, they can answer any kind of questions. If you have been affected in any way, if you or your family, we ask you to come. You will be welcomed with open arms."
