Asia Pacific University (APU) in Japan is calling future global leaders to apply for the ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP). This prestigious scholarship, funded by the Asian Development Bank and the Government of Japan, offers full financial support for highly qualified students from ADB member countries pursuing a master’s degree at APU. Located in Beppu City, Japan, APU offers an innovative, multicultural learning environment, with a strong focus on international development and sustainability. Through ADB-JSP, graduate students passionate about solving real-world development issues can earn a fully funded Master’s degree in English.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Be a national of an ADB borrowing member country

- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a superior academic record.
- Be 35 years old or younger at the time of application.
- Have at least 2 years of full-time professional work experience (acquired after university).
- Demonstrate fluency in English (TOEFL iBT 79+, IELTS 6.5+, or equivalent).
- Commit to returning and working in their home country after graduation.
- Not currently living or working in a developed country.

To apply for the ADB-JSP at APU, follow these steps:
- Apply to APU for admission:
- Choose your desired graduate program (IMAT or GSA).
- Fill out APU’s online application portal.
- Upload the required documents: academic transcripts, proof of work experience, English test scores, etc.
